This position had an interesting mixed focus of social and earned media. For the below project, Ford wanted to show the impressive capabilities of the sporty Focus RS model, so they enlisted a Chinese influencer to put the pedal to the metal on a storied and formerly lost mountain road in the far-flung province of Guilin.

I helped shape the concept and wrote the supers and social posts.

One key earned project was promotion for Ford’s City of Tomorrow event in Delhi, India in 2017. The Ford team wanted two op-ed placements in targeted Indian outlets. I interviewed Raj Rao, then CEO Ford Smart Mobility, and Sheryl Connelly, Ford’s former Chief Futurist. The op-eds I wrote from these conversations landed in two of the desired outlets.

The third example here was earned media that I generated from a conversation with an engineer, written with a creative angle.
